KTMMA 3 presents 2 World title fights and England versus China on an explosive night of full contact action
KTMMA 3 continues the company’s tradition of putting on incredible international fight shows in the heart of the Capital with a mix of World title fights, KTMMA rules bouts and kickboxing, the highlight of which is a series of explosive England versus China clashes the like of which has never been seen in this Country.
Confirmed England versus China KTMMA bouts so far are Urban King’s Josh Palmer, unbeaten at KTMMA versus a very dangerous opponent indeed in the form of ‘The Dongbei Tiger’ Guan Wang, who has 9 KO’S from his 14 wins and 3 submissions, suggesting a well-rounded fighter and a potential danger in both the rounds.. BST Northampton and Icon BJJ fighter Jefferson George the ‘shadow demon blaximus’ makes his KTMMA debut and faces Wu Haotian, another experienced submission specialist but George can take heart from the fact that Haotian can be inconsistent and Jefferson is just the man to exploit any weaknesses in his opponent’s game. Dan Vinni from the renowned Cobra Gym will also make his KTMMA Team England debut against China’s Nuerla Mulali, known for his striking ability. It’s a tough debut but Vinni has a very rounded game and can finish by way of KO or s! ubmission.
Under WLF rules UK K-1 champion Kerrith Bhella is in action against Hu Yafei, a sanda exponent with a very aggressive style but Kerrith has solid international experience and will be relishing the opportunity to trade with his opponent. Heavyweight prospect Aundre Groce joins stablemate Bhella as a KTMMA debutant as he takes on Sanda heavyweight Champion Tang Fei in a bout that will combine both power and technique.
Ruth Ashdown takes on Gong Yan Li, in a match between arguably two of the best female fighters in the World at their weight. Ashdown is the ISKA and WBC World Muay thai Champion whilst Gong Yan Li is known as the Queen of KO and the Chinese and Asian Sanda Champion. Ashdown’s Lumpini Crawley stablemate Ben Hodge is also on the card, facing Guo Xi chuang. Chuang is an all-action fighter who really likes to go for the win but Hodge has an impeccable pedigree and is the current WPMF European Champion, UKMF English Champion and ISKA British Champion. Given the quality of the two fighters this has the potential to be a crowd-pleasing war.
Alongside this England China collision KTMMA 3 is also staging two huge ISKA World title fights. The first features two of England’s finest going head to head as Reece Rowell, Essex kickboxing Academy’s dynamic Middleweight World Kickboxing Champion will defend his title against Cobra Gym’s Jon Durrant over 5×3 minute rounds. Both men are KTMMA veterans and Durrant is a British and Commonwealth champion who is looking to end his career a World champion but Rowell will be in no mood to relinquish the belt.
The second World title fight is for the ISKA Ladies straw-weight title between England’s Ruqsana Begum from the KO Gym in London and Ludivine Lasnier from Paris, France over 3×3 minute rounds under ISKA K-1 rules. Ruqsana fights out of the prestigious KO gym under Bill Judd and is the British Muay Thai champion, whilst Ludivine is the French Full Contact A class Champ and European ISKA FC Champ.
So as you can see, KTMMA 3 boasts a truly World Class International fight card and takes place at the ILEC Conference Centre in Earls Court London on Saturday 14th of March.
