Arnold Quero out of Efrain bout, Brave looking for replacement

Arnold Quero out of Efrain bout, Brave looking for replacement

France's Arnold Quero has been pulled from his Brave Combat Federation debut, which was set to take place at Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions, on November 17th. The Bantamweight was scheduled to face Brazil's Felipe Efrain, but has been pulled from the bout for undisclosed reasons.

Brave officials announced the move today and the promotion is in search of a replacement fighter to face Efrain. The Brazilian striker was looking to go 2-0 with Brave Combat Federation after knocking out UFC veteran Walel Watson on his promotional debut, back in March, at Brave 3: Battle in Brazil. Efrain trains out of Chute Boxe gym, with the likes of Brave title challenger Lucas Mineiro and MMA standouts Charles Oliveira and Thomas Almeida.

Meanwhile, Arnold Quero was looking to make a successful debut at Brave after signing with the promotion to bolster its Bantamweight roster. "Silverback" has competed in higher weight classes over the past few years, and was looking forward to coming back down to his natural division for Brave Combat Federation.

Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions marks the promotion's return to Bahrain after a year. During 2017, the organization has put on groundbreaking events in countries such as Brazil (twice), Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, India, and Kazakhstan. Brave 9 will be the culmination of the International Combat Week, alongside the IMMAF World Championships, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
