Brave News, the online show that keeps fans around the world up to date with everything related to the fastest-rising MMA promotion in the world, drops this week with great announcements. The fight card for the organization's return to Bahrain is taking shape as several fights have been confirmed for Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions, set for November 17th, at the Khalifa Sports City Arena.
Featherweight champion Elias Boudegzdame will make the first defense of his title against Brazilian Lucas "Mineiro" Martins. The fight is almost eight months in the making as they faced off at Brave 4, but "Mineiro" had to postpone his second promotional bout as he underwent surgery for a broken hand.
And that's not the only title fight announced for Brave 9. Bantamweights Gurdarshan Mangat and Stephen Loman will battle on November 17thfor the first-ever 61 kg. Brave world title. The bout was announced this week, as "St. Lion" and "Sniper' look to make history.
Welterweights have also been added to the fight card as two bouts have been announced. Former title challenger Carl Booth rematches Jarrah Al-Selawe and Mohammad Fakhreddine looks to stay relevant at 77 kg. against France's Tahar Hadbi.
Aside from the title bouts and Welterweight announcements, the organization has confirmed other three major fights, both in the Middleweight and Lightweight divisions. Jeremy "Pitbull" Smith, who's coming off a Fight of the Night battle against Marcos "Pirata" at Brave 3, faces off against Ikram Aliskerov at 84 kg., while SBG Ireland's Daniele Scatizzi makes his Lightweight debut against England's Charlie Leary. Finally, Adbul-Kareem Al-Selwady will be back inside the Brave cage against Brazil's Erick "Índio Brabo" da Silva.
Speaking of Al-Selwady, the Pride of Palestine posted a funny video on his social media that went viral. It shows the Lightweight contender being "attacked" at home by...a cockroach.
