Grand Ronde, OR - On Saturday, September 6th the FCFF will host "Battle at the Mountain" at Spirit Mountain Casino! There will be a 170-pound Pro Fight "Main Event" along with four FCFF Amateur Championship Title fights. The undercard is bursting with talent and features three female fights!
Leanne Foster is fighting on the Undercard at "Battle of the Mountain," but she is the current FCFF 145-pound and 155-pound Champion. Her competitor: Holly Thorpe of Milwaukie, Oregon is debuting into the sport by taking a job no one else wants - battling the Champ. Foster won the dual FCFF Titles in 2013. First, she took home the Lightweight Championship Title at Rumble @ The Roseland 72 by defeating Veronica Wilson by a round one armbar. Then, at the 2013 Battle at the Mountain event in November she defeated Kirsten Allen via a round one tapout to earn the 155LB Title.

The two women facing each other in the 140-pound division have something in common - they've both lost to Leanne Foster and they're both hungry for a win. The match-up between Kirsten Allen and Veronica Wilson could easily become one of the 'fights-of-the-night!' This match-up could produce fireworks as these two women need a win to move one step closer to a rematch with Foster.

In the 105-pound division Kelly Vilarino of Ashland Oregon will face MMA newbie: Angel Carlon. Vilarino has one win under her belt from the "Budo Fights 6" event in 2011; over Crystal Jewell via a round two submission.
