MMAMadhouse’s Peter Artman interviews UFC veteran Anthony Hamilton for final fight at COGA

MMAMadhouse's Peter Artman Interviews UFC veteran Anthony Hamilton for final fight at Combat Games MMA (COGA):

After a three year stint and many hard fought battles in the UFC, Anthony “Freight Train” Hamilton has decided to “possibly” end his career at where it all started, Rumble On The Ridge. Rumble On The Ridge, now Combat Games MMA (COGA) was where Anthony Hamilton got his start as an amateur and where he first knew that he could go far in MMA. He stormed through the local circuit, won heavyweight belts in two different organizations then got his call for the global stage.

Hamilton had 10 fights through his UFC career with 3 victories, including getting the 2nd quickest knockout in the heavyweight division. With a few stoppages being questionable, Anthony is giving his friends and fans one more back on his home stage at Snoqualmie Casino.

I got a chance to do a radio phone interview with the “Freight Train” to which we discussed:

  • Greatest moments at Rumble On The Ridge

  • His time in the UFC

  • How he keeps discipline and focus

  • The likelihood this will be this last fight (I try to convince him otherwise)

  • and of course much more!
