'BELLATOR 159: CALDWELL VS. TAIMANGLO' EVENT OFFICIAL AFTER WEIGH-INS TODAY INSIDE KANSAS STAR CASINO
MULVANE, KS. (July 21, 2016) –The official weigh-ins for “Bellator 159: Caldwell vs. Taimanglo” took place this afternoon at the Kansas Star Casino and all 13 fights will go forth tomorrow, with the main card airing LIVE and FREE on SPIKE at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT.
In the main event, undefeated Darrion Caldwell (9-0) will face Joe Taimanglo (22-6-1) in a bout that could determine who fights Eduardo Dantas in the future for his bantamweight crown. In addition, the co-headliner pits hometown hero Dave Rickels (17-4), against the always exciting Melvin Guillard(32-16-2). The main card also features a featherweight contest between Emmanuel Sanchez (13-2) and Daniel “The Weasel” Weichel (36-9) and a women’s flyweight fight featuring the Bellator MMA debut of Bruna Vargas (2-0) against Emily Ducote (2-1).
Doors for “Bellator 159: Caldwell vs. Taimanglo” open at 5:00 pm CST, while preliminary bouts will stream live on and the beginning at 5:45 pm CST.
