Bob  "The Beast" Sapp will once again step into the ROAD FC cage - only this time he will be holding a microphone, not 4-ounce gloves!  Sapp will make his Cage Announcer debut at ROAD FC 019 on 9 November, 2014 at the Seoul Olympic Hall in Seoul, South Korea.

Bob Sapp MMASapp is one of the most recognizable MMA figures in history.  His mammoth size, aggression, and charisma both inside and outside the ring have made him very popular, and sought after for television appearances and commercials. Sapp's powerful, distinctive voice and personality is the perfect fit for a Ring Announcer; ROAD FC is excited to host his debut performance!

Sapp grew to fame in the MMA heyday of PRIDE and K-1.  Sapp won the K-1 Japan Grand Prix in 2005 which qualified him for the World GP.  In the elimination round he lost by decision to another  "The Techno Goliath" Choi Hong-Man. Sapp's association with ROAD FC began in 2012 at ROAD FC 008 where he faced and was defeated by Kim Jong-Dae.   He became more well-known to Korean fans when he appeared on the hit television show "Crying Fist: Tokyo Express".

After winning only one of his last twelve fights, "The Beast officially retired in May of 2014.  He made waves by stating his career had earned him 10 million dollars US in the bank.



ROAD FC 019 Full Fight Card

The Main Event of ROAD FC 019 is an exciting Middleweight Superfight between ultra-powerful finisher Riki Fukuda of Japan and tough-as-nails Lee Dool-Hee of South Korea.

Yoon Dong-Sik will face Amilcar Alves, and the two famous judokas will delight fans with some of the most exciting skills in the ROAD FC cage.

Two massive veterans of the sport, Cha Jung-Hwan and Alexandre Barros will meet in what will be a fantastic display of MMA from these very experienced fighters.

Korea's long-time MMA staple Lee Kwang-Hee will welcome hot prospect Mun Gi-Bum to his very first Main Card match.

Beautiful celebrity fighter Song Hyo-Kyung will take on former DEEP Lightweight Champion Emi Tomimatsu in a high profile match up for global women's MMA.

Korea's hit MMA reality show "Crying Fist" contestants face off as wrestler Shim Gun-Oh faces striker Frederick Sloan.

Two tough sluggers will thrill the audience as Kim Dae-Sung goes toe-to-toe with Jeon Uh-Jin.

About ROAD FC Official Gym

To support this expansion and all ROAD FC fighters, the ROAD FC Official Gym in Gangnam, Seoul has been constructed.  This state-of-the-art facility is approximately 500 square meters, has a cage built to ROAD FC specifications, and generous mat area for martial arts training and CrossFit.  Famous Korean MMA fighter Seo Doo-Won, formerly of the National Wrestling Team, is the Head Coach.
