ROAD FC 019 first match announced is Riki Fukuda versus Lee Dool-Hee
ROAD FC 019 will take place on 9 November, 2014 at the Seoul Olympic Hall in Seoul, South Korea.
The first match announced which will be the Main Event is an exciting Middleweight Superfight between ultra-powerful finisher Riki Fukuda of Japan and tough-as-nails Lee Dool-Hee of South Korea.
Fukuda became the DEEP Middleweight Champion by defeating Ryuta Sakurai. Then he filled in for Yoon Dong-Sik at DREAM 8 and he rose to international acclaim by defeating Murilo Rua. This led to an appointment to the UFC, and Fukuda fought there for three years. His most recent fight was at ROAD FC 16 where he finally faced Yoon Dong-Sik and was able to knock him out in the first round.
Lee is a young and resurgent fighter who began his professional MMA career when he was just 18 years old. He made a name for himself as an exciting fighter willing to engage, but it wasn't until traveling overseas to Japan that he began to amass a winning streak. A quick left hook by Kim Jong-Dae sent him back to the drawing board. When Lee next entered the cage 2 years later, he proved his developing intelligence and strength by defeating Pancrase Champion Ryo Kawamura by Split Decision after a thrilling three rounds of all-out action.
This top-of-the card battle between proven veteran Riki Fukuda and the rising Lee Dool-Hee will be as hot as sparks thrown from a grinding axe!
