8 November, 2016 – ROAD Fighting Championship is pleased to announce investment from the China International Culture and Arts Company, China's premier management, consulting and brokerage firm for the visual and performing arts.

cicac-jin-and-zhang-1The 11th China Beijing International Cultural and Creative Industry Expo was recently held in Beijing, China to to promote cultural integration - to dig deeper into joint development between the industries of culture, science and technology, education, sports, tourism, and finance. The expo featured over 1,800 exhibitors and was attended by over 220,000 people. It was sponsored by the Beijing State-owned Culture Assets Supervision and Administration Office, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Industrial Cultural Development and the China Technology Development Association.

During the Expo, 2016 Cultural Integration Development Project Meeting was held on October 28, 2016. The outlook on investment in the Mixed Martial Arts sector was favorable and ROAD FC secured capital cooperation from the China International Culture and Arts Company (CICAC). CICAC is a powerhouse in the visual and performing arts industry in China. Since their formation in 1990, the company has promoted thousands of international performances and events from over 100 countries. 

meetingAfter researching all of the world's top combat sports promotions and Chinese promotions, CICAC assessed that ROAD FC is the most suitable for the Chinese market. Because ROAD FC has an international broadcast to viewers at home and abroad, ROAD FC has a greater impact on the market and a strong reputation. Since landing a live broadcast on sports channel CCTV5, ROAD FC has been in the top five of the weekend's prime-time ratings six consecutive times. On the event on July 2 in Changsha, Hunan Satellite TV station broadcast ranked third overall. Additionally, ROAD FC has already secured backing and sponsorships from giants in the gaming and technology fields, including Tianshen Yule and Xiaomi.

CICAC Director Jin Hui and ROAD FC subsidiary Beijing ROAD CEO Zhang Xiaodie signed a strategic investment agreement on site at the Meeting.

Director Jin stated,

“Behind the mature development of ROAD FC is a truly international operation team, efficient organization and operational capability, and the true high spirit of competition. We will fully support ROAD FC with online and offline events, for advancement in the scientific concept of sport as the new healthy lifestyle, and set an example to young people to restore the Chinese nation's 'warrior spirit'.”

Beijing ROAD CEO Zhang stated,

“I am honored, and now even more confident on ROAD FC's strategy in China. We are excited to soon open the first ROAD FC Gym in the Sanlitun area of Beijing. As an international team, we will all uphold the business philosophy today of 'sports, entertainment, technology, green' for healthy entertainment and grow with the new 'sport and leisure' trend.”

Xiaomi ROAD FC 034 and 035

Xiaomi ROAD FC 034 will take place on 19 November in Shijiazhuang, Hebei, China. The Main Event will be the ROAD FC Featherweight Championship, as title holder Choi Mu-Gyeom takes on challenger Murat Kazgan of Turkey. Additionally, the China Trials for the ROAD FC $1 Million 70kg Tournament will be held, with 4 winners to be seeded in the Tournament.

Xiaomi ROAD FC 035 will take place on 10 December in Seoul, South Korea. The Main Event is a Special Charity match between actor Kim Bo-Sung and Kondo Tetsuo. There will be three Championship bouts, including Lightweight Champion Kwon A-Sol versus Shinji Sasaki, Middleweight Champion Cha Jung-Hwan versus “Ryo” Choi Young, and Openweight Champion Mighty Mo versus Carlos Toyota.
