21 April, 2016 - ROAD Fighting Championship is excited to announce all preliminary matches added to Xiaomi presents ROAD FC 031 on 14 May, 2016 in Seoul, South Korea. Young Guns 28 will see twelve rising Korean and Chinese prospects get their shot on the big show.

 

China's Lan Hao (1-0) comes off the back of a win from his strong wrestling and boxing to face all-rounder Kim Kyeong-Pyo (3-0) in what is expected to be two Lightweight prospects showing off their next generation MMA skills.

 

Kim Won-Gi (5-4-1) versus Lee Sang-Hyun (2-1) will be a slugfest between the veteran striker Kim and the hot prospect Lee who made 4 wins in the ROAD FC Central League before going pro. Don't blink, this could be one of the most thrilling of the night.

 

Ki Won-Bin (3-1) and Burenzorig Batmunkh (5-3) are also exciting strikers who are working their way up in the stacked ROAD FC Lightweight division. A win for eighter will add significant credit to their career.

 

Jung Young-Sam (3-8) versus Yang Jae-Ung (2-0) pits grappler versus striker in the Featherweight division. Will Jung pull off one of his slick submissions, or will Yang get another first round KO?

 

Jung Jae-Il (1-1) will take on Kim Hung-Tae who is making his MMA debut. Jung's kickboxing background and Kim's Brazilian jiujitsu and boxing background will make them interesting to watch as they begin their MMA careers.

 

Opening up the Young Guns 28 preliminary matches will be MMA debutant Park Noh-Myeong versus Wang Deyu (2-1). Both fighters have a sanda background. In fact, Park is making his MMA debut at the age of 35 because of the great sanda fighters from China who are now in ROAD FC!

The main event for Xiaomi ROAD FC 031 will be ROAD FC Lightweight Champion Kwon A-Sol and middleweight slugger Lee Dool-Hee in a grudge match at Openweight. Plus, ROAD FC Bantamweight Champion Lee Yun-Jun will take on newly-signed UFC veteran George Roop, the “Zombie Killer”. Legends collide as “Ryo” Choi Young makes his return to fight in Korea for the first time in ten years against Olympic-calibre Judoka Yoon Dong-Sik. Finally, thrilling strikers Bruno Miranda and Jung Doo-Jae will begin their conquest into the featherweight division with a catchweight bout at 69kgs.

 

Recently added to Xiaomi ROAD FC 031, Emi Fujino is back to take on debutant grappler Hong Yun-Ha in a Women's strawweight match. Also, rising prospect Choi Mu-Song will meet the exciting Alatengheili in the opening match.
