ROAD FC: ROAD FC 026 Presents Three "Crying Fist" Reality TV Graduates

In 2011, the MMA reality series "Crying Fist" began to air on South Korea's premier channel XTM.  Contestants from all walks of life who dreamed of being successful mixed martial artists applied for the first season.  "Crying Fist" chose the applicants who thenCrying fist competed against each other tournament style under the watchful eyes of a notable Korean coach and a celebrity mentor, who headed up each team.

 

"Crying Fist" has been a huge success in Korea, and has produced a number of fighters who have gone on to begin a professional career in MMA.  Three of those contestants will be celebrated at ROAD FC 026.

 

The first is Han Yi-Moon (22, Team Finish) who was winner of "Crying Fist" in Season 2.  Since his accomplishment, Han has moved into a professional career with ROAD FC where he is now 4-3. This young fighter has a very promising future ahead of him.

 

The second is Hong Young-Gi (31, Apujeong Gym) who was a participant in Season 3 and got dubbed "Grandpa" because of his late start.  However, Hong is a Taekwondo champion who has proven in ROAD FC that his kicks are devastating, and he is now 2-1 in his professional career.

 

 

The third "Crying Fist" veteran is Kim Seung-Yeon (26, SSABI MMA), the Season 4 winner nicknamed "Keyboard Warrior" because he has been very active online about MMA.  Kim debuted in ROAD FC 023 with an amazing first round KO by knee, but unfortunately missed his second appearance at ROAD FC 024 in Japan due to a fractured nose.  Kim is fully healed and ready to showcase his talents in professional MMA.

 

All three "Crying Fist" graduates will have their opponents announced shortly.  Expect these fighters to put on great performances as they grow under the watchful eyes of an entire nation!

 

 

At ROAD FC 026, Inaugural Flyweight Champion Jo Nam-Jin and Interim Flyweight Champion Song Min-Jong will meet to unify the ROAD FC Flyweight Title and determine who is the king of the ROAD FC Flyweight division!

 

Also, Korean legend Choi Mu-Bae will finally match wrecking machine  "Mighty Mo" Siala-Mou Siliga.

 

And Korean MMA standout "Parky" Park Wong-Sik celebrates a return from early retirement against none other than stellar Japanese rival, Sasaki Shinji.

 

Plus, the Heavyweight division of ROAD FC will get heavier with the addition of kickboxing standout Myung Hyun-Man versus Golden Glory's UFC veteran Denis Stojnic.
