New Wave MMA, ROAD FC” - 2016 Broadcast and Schedule

ROAD FC was established in 2010 to promote the sport of MMA which embodies the Asian spirit of martial arts. Over 300 athletes from South Korea, Brazil, North America, Europe, Japan, China, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East have signed agreements with ROAD FC. Events are broadcast around the world. ROAD FC initiated its global strategy in 2015 with ROAD FC 024 in Tokyo, Japan and ROAD FC 027 in Shanghai, China, significant achievements in South Korean sports history.

ROAD FC 027 in Shanghai was the first MMA event to ever air live on China's state broadcaster CCTV5 and garnered an estimated 35 million viewers, matching NBA and popular television series numbers.  ROAD FC and CCTV have concluded a 3-year broadcast contract for events to be broadcast live from 2016 to 2018.  In expanding the development of MMA in the Chinese market, ROAD FC has also concluded a contract with Hunan Satellite TV for an entertainment program. ROAD FC has experienced great success with XTM's "Crying Fist" MMA reality television show in Korea.

ROAD CEO Jung Moon-Hong stated:

"Fighting events have a somewhat violent and savage image, so we will focus on fair play and integrity of competition to show the best professional spirit.  We will do our best to minimize the occurrence of non-gentlemanly violent elements so that the hearts of Asians can accept MMA more readily."

In 2016, ROAD FC plans to host a total of 10 events in Korea and abroad, including 7 in China in such cities as Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Changsha.

CEO Jung Moon-Hong stated:

"We have a 100% open mind with a 'Win-Win' business model for many overseas and domestic enterprises; we welcome the power of partnerships with other organizations.  Also, for years ROAD FC has been focused on charity, forming charitable public service organizations and events, and in China our future will be no different; we will work with all people to strive for health and happiness."

ROAD FC is the stage where legends shine, rookies thrill, and epic battles are waged that determine the future of MMA. From the pageantry of the grand entrance to the final crunch of the KO, ROAD FC showcases the very best of Mixed Martial Arts sports and entertainment. As we say in Korea, "Fighting!"
