Sunday's Press Conference Recap for Rumble 96

Portland, OR - The FCFF was on location at Bridge City Fight Shop on Sunday, January 7th for a press conference to promote the fighters of Rumble @ The Roseland 96 on Saturday, January 20th. If you missed it you can find the video on the FCFF's facebook page and read the highlights below:

They're Back!

Tyrell Pless of Gracie Barra Portland was a surprise guest on Sunday as he discussed his return to the cage after over 4 years! Find out what he has to say and a special message for his opponent on the video stream! Nick Martin also of Gracie Barra was fashionably late to the party but made quick work of discussing his layoff from the cage as well as his excitement to make 2018 his year!

Full Swing Ahead

155lb Superfight Contender DJ Nuttall of Impact Jiu Jitsu fought questions from the press regarding his upcoming battle against newcomer, 2-0 Straight Blast Gym fighter Peter Lysenko.

Debuting with Confidence

Patty Elliot of Impact Jiu Jitsu took to the press conference table for the first time discussing her training schedule for her debut fight on January 20th as well as being 'ready for whomever'. We expect more amazing female fights this year!

Personality and Poise

Charlie Gilpin of 503 West Coast Academy also made his first appearance at the press conference table and he was looking ready to step in the cage that night! Across from Gilpin, Sean Kalinoski took to the mic to happily answer questions regarding his last fight against Keaneo Moyer as well as discussing his immediate comeback vs Tim DeVore for the Flyweight Superfight belt at #RUMBLE96!

The conference ended with a question in the air regarding the main event featuring Johnny James Jr, as Welterweight Champion Alex Aguilar had to pull due to injury. Check out the video to see it all as it happened and hear what's next for the FCFF in 2018!

The FCFF is Oregon's oldest and most respected mixed martial arts promotions company. It's signature event Rumble @ The Roseland was established in 2001 at Roseland theater in downtown Portland. The FCFF has hosted events across the state, from Pendleton, Oregon to the Coast. The FCFF hosted two events on the Oregon Coast: the Battle at the Mountain series in partnership with Spirit Mountain Casino and the Caged on the Coast" series with Chinook Winds Casino. The FCFF has been featured countless times across the MMA media landscape including being called the 'golden gloves of MMA' by Inside MMA, a nationally broadcast commentary sports program. In 2014 the FCFF begun hosting professional MMA fights in addition to matching up the region's top amateurs in tooth-in-nail battles for belts.
