Once the fighters got back in the middle of the cage, Knopp started bombs, making Currie clinch up again to precisely strike on the fence. Currie stayed on the fence working for a takedown but right as the clinch got dismissed, Knopp being the tank he is charged forward swinging for a finish landing some heavy shots forcing Currie to again clinch. The rest of the round consisted of Knopp pressing forward, getting Currie on the fence throwing heavy leather, looking for the finish with Currie clinching and delivering some knees to end the round.
2nd round, Brent Knopp came out charging forward swinging, followed by Jordan Currie pushing Knopp on the fence and taking him down. Knopp did damage off his back while Currie kept top position trying to work in a submission. Knopp stayed busy, standing up and striking currie while currie attempted a takedown which Knopp reveresed on got top position. Knopp kept top position laying down hammer fists which stunned Currie on the ground and as the round ended, Currie was unable to get up and continue to fight, giving Brent Knopp the victory in his co-main event return after a year outside the octagon.
Amy Montenegro vs. Glena Avila: Amy Montenegro won by Split Decision (49-47, 47-48, 48-47)
1st round started with a feeling out process for the part of the round, trying to dial down each others range. Montenegro utilized the clinch with some knees throughout the round and used the clinch anytime the fighter's got into close quarters. Glena Avila stayed on the outside using her long range to land some jabs and stay away from the clinch. While Montenegro was pressed on the fence, she landed a technically savvy judo throw, getting top position. Avila soon got up and fought in the clinch with some knees of her own getting pressed on the fence. For the rest of the round, the close quarters clinch became the crucial part in the control of the fight with Montenegro getting the best of the exchanges to end the round.
2nd round, Montenegro stayed the aggressor pushing forward while Avila stayed on the outside waiting to counter. Both fighters would bounce in and out of range making their boxing become a chess match that both had a hard time with. Montenegro was able to catch Avila with some solid 1,2 combos throughout the fight winning the round, but both fighters put it on at the end of the round swinging like crazy and delivering some knees, putting on a show.
3rd round, Avila used her kickboxing to attack the legs and to keep Montenegro out of punching distance. Montenegro aggressively landed some vicious combos strafing into close distance. Montenegro started to get Avila's timing down catching Avila coming in for jabs which made it for her to strike in closer distance. Both fighters fought til the bell with Amy putting the fight on the fence and Avila punching back into the middle.
4th round,  Montenegro continues to push forward and have an answer for whatever Avila decided to dish out. Avila had a hard time landing combos as Montenegro's movement kept her from being in one spot. Avila got some good punches off on Montenegro, but to finish the round, Amy used her clinch to control the exchanges.
5th round, Montenegro used her precision and aggression to control this round, utilizing the superior boxing and foot movement, then followed her strikes up with a clean takedown. Montenegro worked for the mount position but gave Avila a chance to stand up. For the rest of the fight, Montenegro dominated the stand up and neutralized Avila again with her clinch and stand up. Both fighters went as hard as they could, but in the end, it was Amy Montenegro's dominant boxing got her the Split Decision win and the Women's SFL Strawweight Championship Title Belt.
