Xiaomi presents ROAD FC 029 has added a Bantamweight match between Kim Soo-Chul and Marcus Brimage
4 February, 2016 - ROAD Fighting Championship announces that Xiaomi presents ROAD FC 029 has been rescheduled from 5 March to 19 March, 2016 in Wonju, South Korea. As previously announced in the Main Event, Featherweight Champion Choi Mu-Gyeom will make his second title defense against former Pancrase and Sengoku Champ Marlon Sandro.
Bantamweight Match added: Kim Soo-Chul vs Marcus Brimage
The Co-Main event will be a match between two very well-known Bantamweights from two sides of the globe: "One Minute" Kim Soo-Chul (12-5-1, Team Force) and "The Bama Beast" Marcus Brimage (7-5, American Top Team). Hailing from South Korea, Kim has made himself a force to be reckoned with all over Asia. He most recently defeated Jungle Fight Champion Maike Linhares, and went through an incredible three-rounder with current Featherweight Championship challenger Marlon Sandro the ended in a Draw. Kim is now refereed to as "One Minute because of the increasing number of fast finishes he gives the fans.
Marcus Brimage is an American fighter who racked up a 10-0 amateur record in the Southern US before turning pro. He is a very recent UFC veteran who climbed into the promotion through his performances on The Ultimate Fighter 14. Brimage is endearing to fans for his knockout deliveries and his Dragon Ball Z homage: a "Scouter" eyepiece he wears in reference to his first love of combat. Brimage has notable wins over former Lightweight King of Pancrase Maximo Blanco and Legend FC Champion Jumabieke Tuerxun. He was also the first person to fight current UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor under the UFC banner.

Rising Bantamweights Kim Min-Woo (6-1, MMA Story) and Park Hyung-Geun (2-1, SSABI MMA) will see two fighters capable of creating highlight-reel worthy KOs put on a show for the fans.
Four other South Korean fighters will appear on the card against yet to be announced opponents. "Monster Wrestler" Sim Gun-Oh (1-1, Team Finish) is back to show off his grappling and heavy hands in a heavyweight bout. 16-year old thriller Lee Yeji (0-1, Team J) will look to cement her name as a hot prospect. Korean standout "Parky" Park Won-Sik (11-5-1, Team MAD) is healed up and ready to make a mark on the Lightweight division. South Korean Boxing Champion Cha In-Ho (2-2, Team MAD) will once again bring his fast feet and firsts into the ROAD FC cage.
