Xiaomi presents ROAD FC 031 Main Event fighter Lee Dool-Hee injured and out of bout with Kwon A-Sol


9 May, 2016 - ROAD Fighting Championship is disappointed to announce that injury has sidelined Lee Dool-Hee from the Main Event of Xiaomi presents ROAD FC 031 on 14 May, 2016 in Seoul, South Korea at the Jangchung Gymnasium. Middleweight Lee Dool-Hee was set to face ROAD FC Lightweight Champion Kwon A-Sol in a highly anticipated grudge match at Openweight.


Lee Dool-Hee injured his right knee in training on 29 April. After going to the hospital, the diagnosis was a sprained knee, ruptured Anterior Cruciate Ligament, and meniscus tear. On behalf of Lee, ROAD FC apologizes to the fans who were awaiting his return. ROAD FC wishes Lee a complete and speedy recovery.


The announcement regarding the participation of ROAD FC Lightweight Champion Kwon A-Sol in Xiaomi ROAD FC 031 will be issued at a press conference on 10 May in Seoul.

Also on the Main card of ROAD FC 031, ROAD FC Bantamweight Champion Lee Yun-Jun will take on newly-signed UFC veteran George Roop, the “Zombie Killer”. Legends collide as “Ryo” Choi Young makes his return to fight in Korea for the first time in ten years against Olympic-calibre Judoka Yoon Dong-Sik. Thrilling strikers Bruno Miranda and Jung Doo-Jae will begin their conquest into the featherweight division with a catchweight bout at 69kgs.
