Xiaomi ROAD FC 034 Openweight wrestlers collide: Hou Zhenlin vs Shim Gun-Oh
Xiaomi ROAD FC 034 adds Openweight wrestlers clash Hou Zhenlin vs Shim Gun-Oh
For immediate release:
5 October, 2016 – ROAD Fighting Championship is excited to announce the next match for Xiaomi ROAD FC 034 on 19 November at the 9,400-seat Hebei Gymnasium in Shijiazhuang (???), the capital and largest city of Hebei, China.
In an Openweight bang up, two countries' national champion wrestlers will meet in MMA as China's Hou Zhenlin faces Korea's Shim Gun-Oh.
Hou Zhenlin (1-1, An Shan Quan Hui Ju Le) was a heavily medalled Greco Roman wrestler on the National level in China and World Championships before he ever thought of mixing it up with strikes in MMA. He showed tremendous power in his initial outing at ROAD FC 032 with a ground and pound win over Gwak Byeong-In.
Shim Gun-Oh (1-2, Team Finish) is also a National wrestling champion in Korea with a head start into MMA from his appearance on the Korean MMA reality TV show “Crying Fist”. His raw striking impressed ROAD FC CEO Jung Mun-Hong enough to land him a professional MMA contract before he had a chance to finish the trials.
This match will be a spectacular nation versus nation sporting clash of high level heavyweight wrestling beasts!
Also on Xiaomi ROAD FC 034, ROAD FC Featherweight Champion Choi Mu-Gyeom will make his third title defense against Turkish sensation Murat Kazgan. And, China's beloved behemoth Aorigele will be back in action against Japan's warhorse Kawaguchi Yusuke. Plus, Bruno Miranda will look for a rebound versus "Keyboard Warrior" Kim Seung-Yeon.
New Wave MMA ROAD FC is the stage where legends shine, rookies thrill, and epic battles are waged that determine the future of MMA. From the pageantry of the grand entrance to the final crunch of the KO, ROAD FC showcases the very best of Mixed Martial Arts sports and entertainment. As we say in Korea, "Fighting!"
