Xiaomi ROAD FC 035 opens Young Guns 31 with a grudge match: Park Hyung-Geun vs Kim Hyung-Su.

For immediate release:

1 November, 2016 – ROAD Fighting Championship has opened the Young Guns 31 preliminary card for Xiaomi ROAD FC 035 on 10 December in Seoul, South Korea with a grudge match between “Crying Fist” stars Park Hyung-Geun and Kim Hyung-Su.

“Crying Fist” Season 3 runner-up Park Hyung-Geun (2-1, Ssabi MMA) launched into his pro MMA career with back to back wins, then dropped a stunning loss by a head kick from Japanese Shooto Champ Nezu Yuta. Park has shown that his grappling and striking are both well-rounded, so he'll be aiming to rub the tarnish off against a long time foe.

“Crying Fist” Season 3 competitor Kim Hyung-Su (2-1, Kim Dae Hwan MMA) is a powerful wrestler who made his pro MMA debut against none other than Kron Gracie, when no others would step up. After the loss, he earned good decision wins in ROAD FC at lightweight and feather. Kim was eliminated from the season, but his back story of being a cancer survivor and helping other children in need endeared him to fans.

In “Crying Fist” the bad blood between these two started, but they didn't get to settle the score on the show. So, at ROAD FC 016 Park and Kim were set to make their pro debut against each other. Unfortunately, Kim was sidelined with an injury. Recently the smack talk between the two has gotten heated again.

Park said,

“He's just a stupid wrestler.”

Kim said,

“He's got pillows for fists.”

At Xiaomi ROAD 035, the long-brewing battle of words and styles between prospects ark and Kim will finally play out in the cage!
