Robert Madrid has a Professional record of 3-1 will travel half way across the USA to showcase his skills on the East Coast. Madrid will step into the cage May 2 in Pennsauken,Robert Madrid GPG 20 NJ at the Event Center & Sports Bar for Global Proving Grounds 20: Fighters For Wounded Soldiers. This event will also be telecast live on Comcast Sports Network. Madrid will be squaring off verses Desmond Moore out of Pennsylvania with a 3-0 professional record.

Robert Madrid fights out of Guymon, OK. and trains under Outlawz Fight Club. Madrid had a very impressive Amateur career with a record of 7-2 with 5 of those wins coming at Throwdown Showdown & bringing home an Amateur Championship Title in that organization. Madrid started his Pro career 13 months after his last Amateur fight and has compiled a record of 3-1 all at Revolution Cage Warrior Challenge. This'll be a huge test for Madrid stepping out of his boundaries fighting away from home.

MMAMadhouse caught up with Scrap Soldier Sponsored fighter Robert Madrid to talk about his career and upcoming bout at Global Proving Grounds 20: Fighters For Wounded Soldiers.

MMAMadhouse: Could you tell the fans out their how you got started in MMA?

Robert: I alwayhad a nag for fighting and boxing...some guys introduced MMA to me and I got pretty good at it....I'm 30yrs old born and raised in Guymon, OK...last of four kids...I now have 7 of my own...been fighting for the last 10 yrs..can't wait to fight on TV for GPG 20”

MMAMadhouse: Have you always trained at Outlawz Fight Club?

Robert: “ Yes, Iv trained at times at American Freestyle Karate in Liberal KS.... I did MuayRobert Madrid & Team Thia for five years. I did Muay Thia before MMA, before I got in the cage.I've had some training in Albuquerque at Jacksons MMA, its been about a year since the last time....and I went for a month on my pro debut”

MMAMadhouse: You'll be stepping out of your boundaries to fight Desmond Moore in front of his fans. How do you feel about that?

Robert:I feel like I'm ready....I'm not worried about where we are...a fight is a fight and its all about who is the better man that night”

MMAMadhouse: Both of you guys have knockout power! How do you see this fight ending?

Robert: “I think it may go to a decision...the w will go to who ever wants it more”

MMAMadhouse:Where do you see yourself in a year from now?

Robert: “Fighting on bigger shows and pushing to better my career”

MMAMadhouse: You were scheduled to fight on the Titan FC 28 card back a year ago that Robert Madrid (Belts)got canceled. Would you still like to fight your opponent that was scheduled on that card sometime on another Titan FC event?

Robert: “I would like to but he pulled out last minute for no reason so I don't think that will happen....I fought him once and beat him but for some reason its not on my record”

MMAMadhouse: I seen were after the fights they are going to show the Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight on 2- 10 ft screens. Will you stay and watch? Who do you predict to win?

Robert: “Ya I'm staying...I'm hoping Paquiao...but think Mayweather will win”

MMAMadhouse: If you could be a Main Event in any city in the World, what city would you want to fight in?

Robert: Las Vegas!! Lol
