Xiaomi ROAD FC 030 update: Alatengheili vs Sasaki Fumiya, Albert Cheng vs Yuki Ishihara, He Nannan vs Murat Kazgan
Xiaomi presents ROAD FC 030 will open with a bout between unpredictable warhorse warriors Alatengheili and Sasaki Furiya.
23 March, 2016 - ROAD Fighting Championship is excited to announce the opening match for the main card of Xiaomi presents ROAD FC 030 in Beijing, China on 16 April, 2016: Alatengheili versus Sasaki Fumiya.
Both fighters have been active staples of their respective country's MMA scene, racking up almost 40 fights between them. Alatengheili (Team Alateng) made his debut in ROAD FC with a split decision win in a thrilling bout against Kwon Min-Seok. In his short but very active career, he's scored wins over the likes of Kana Hayatt and Jessie Rafols, and gone toe to toe with former ROAD FC Flyweight Champion Jo Nam-Jin. Alatenheili rides a 3-fight win streak into his next ROAD FC fight.
Sasaki Fumiya (T-Pleasure) has also put in the rounds against some of Japan's notables, such as a pair of wars against Kensaku Nakamura, plus Lion Takeshi and Coro Terashima. Sasaki isn't riding the win streak like Alatengheili is, but he is a consummate underdog and is always driven to fight whomever's thrown at him. It's a fact that makes him a very unpredictable and thrilling fighter to watch.
Xiaomi ROAD FC 030 will open with a clash of styles as Alatengheili's wrestling and striking is pit against Sasaki's boxing and judo - literally anything could happen in this match!
Xiaomi ROAD FC 030 Main Card
Also on Xiaomi ROAD FC 030, The Openweight Tournament Semifinals will take place. Mighty Mo will take on Myung Hyun-Man, and Choi Hong-Man will face Aorigele. A women's match that promises violence is set between China's top MMA female fighter Yan Xiaonan and Korean sanda standout Lim So-Hee. Kim Seung-Yeon, winner of "Crying Fist", will get his biggest test yet against multiple national Sanda titles winner Baoshe Riguleng.
Xiaomi ROAD FC 030 Undercard
Topping the first part of ROAD FC 030 in Beijing will be He Nannan's third appearance with ROAD FC against Murat Kazgan of Turkey in his second. He Nannan (China Top Team) has delivered two extremely entertaining matches in the ROAD FC cage, from his 3-rounder with Taekwondo master Hong Young-Ki, to his first round KO of Daisaku Tanaka. He Nannan is tough, has excellent wrestling, and has a chin of stone.
Murat Kazgan (Kazgan MMA) first stunned fans with a rapid-fire choke of Lee Hyung-Seok at ROAD FC 011. The noted kick boxer was expected to stand and bang it out with Lee, but instead took the fight to the ground and finished it there. Kazgan could pose a threat on the ground to He Nannan, but if it stays standing this will be a competitive fight.
Coming into ROAD FC for the first time is UFC TUF: China contestant Albert Cheng against newcomer Yuki Ishihara. Albert Cheng (Evolucao Thai) is well-known for his appearance on UFC's first ever The Ultimate Fighter in China. After the series, he's scored an impressive four wins in a row leading up to his first fight back in China with ROAD FC.
Meanwhile Yuki Ishihara (Blue Dog Gym) is taking this fight as a huge step up in his career, but he follows in the path of an extremely tough group from Blue Dog Gym. Ishihara is looking to bounce back from two losses, and he'll have to pull out all the stops with his striking against a very well-rounded Cheng.
The first three fights on the card will be high spirited China versus Korea action, as Yang Junkai faces Oh Du-Suk, Zheng Xiaoliang takes on Jang Ik-Hwan, and Shang Lianru meets Kim Se-Yeong.
New Wave MMA ROAD FC is the stage where legends shine, rookies thrill, and epic battles are waged that determine the future of MMA. From the pageantry of the grand entrance to the final crunch of the KO, ROAD FC showcases the very best of Mixed Martial Arts sports and entertainment. As we say in Korea, "Fighting!"
