Brave News #47: Last-minute changes to upcoming card, Pride legends praise Brave
Brave News, the online show that keeps fans updated on everything related to the biggest MMA promotion in the Middle East, comes back this week with news from the upcoming fight card, in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
As we enter fight week for Brave 13, two last-minute changes were made, as Middleweight Tarek Suleiman and Lightweight Kareem-Abdul Al-Selwady were forced off the card due to injuries and their replacements have been named. Check out BraveFights.com for the updates.
Last week, Bertrand Amoussou, former Pride fighter and president of the French MMA sanctioning body, compared the Japanese promotion to Brave. This week, two legends of the game have endorsed his words, as both Wanderlei Silva and Cristiano Marcello agreed with that assessment, claiming that their wish for fighters to be the real stars of the show was something to behold in today's MMA landscape.
Meanwhile, IMMAF president Kerrith Brown has praised former gold medalist Frans Mlambo, who takes on champion Stephen Loman in the main event of next week's Brave 13.
