For immediate release, November 10, 2017 - ROAD Fighting Championship returnS to China for Xiaomi ROAD FC 044 on November 11, 2017 at the Hebei Gymnasium in Shijiazhuang. On November 10th, the Official Weigh Ins were held at the Hilton Shijiazhuang, and all fighters successfully made weight.

At Xiaomi ROAD FC 044, the quarterfinals round of the ROAD FC $1 Million Lightweight Tournament will take place, with eight fighters from six countries participating. In the main event, fan favorite “Kungfu Panda” Aorigele will face returning Japanese ring legend Fujita “Ironhead” Kazuyuki in a massive Openweight bout. There are a total of 7 matches on Part 1, and 5 on Part 2.

Referees Herb Dean and Zhao Zilong were fortunately on hand when things got heated between Aorigele and Fujita. Aorigele stayed true to his word, and turned on the intimidation factor when he shook hands and locked eyes with Fujita. An arm jostling match ensued and Fujita became irate and wouldn't stop baiting the unusually stoic Aorigele. For sure this Openweight match will be fireworks!

All eight fighters in the quarterfinals round of the $1 Million Lightweight Tournament were respectful in their face offs, and the crowd on hand was very excited to see the international opponents for the first time face to face.
